  6. I love your doorknob's attitude! ;) =D I love how the pea is looking up at the snail - what a funny trio they all are...with sweet little odd personalities. Just yesterday, the boys and I were discussing belly buttons. They're round! Sandra Boynton wrote a funny, funny song about them and in it someone chants - 'so round! so profound! So great to contemplate!'

    happy Sunday!=]

  15. Very cute! Great job giving them all quirky personalities. I love the peapod looking up at the tall snail shell, and the doorknob. And the thoughtful clock face.

    Reminds me a bit of Edward Gorey's "The Inanimate Tragedy", but yours would surely be a comedy. Or perhaps a coming-of-age tale.

  24. Lizzie, these are all sketches of whimsical excellence, but that moon is like looking into a face which bears as much familiarity and comfort as my own.

    You are truly gifted. You have packed a living thing through graphite (or whatever medium you used.)
