I can hear him!
Sometimes we are moved to sing!
I can hear him too lol :D and i can see my parents dog in him!!!! ehehe beautiful
Hello Elizabeth:Sometimes our pets are just SO embarrassing!!!!!
I want that puppy! He looks like he's yawning! :)
Oh my gosh! Cutest puppy ever! Haha, wow. I can't imagine why that fellow is so reluctant. Perhaps the loud little feller is embarrassing him. Or maybe he is mad because he left the house in his socks!
hihi, nice idea :-)
so cute! :)
"haw! haw! I am taking him for a ride in his pajamas." love the expression on both the faces!
Hihi, fun take on the topic.
Lol. This takes me back to my days as a dog walker back in high school. nice.
LA LA LAAAAAAAAAA.. LA LA LA LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! There's nothing like a morning movement to set you right, eh boss?
Of all the demure sets of striped pants I've ever seen...this sweet man is wearing them. and, look at how tidily his buttons are all done up...my, myyyy! I think the happy and free doggy is going to be very good for him, indeed! There's a whole story in there.=]It always feels like Christmas when you post! =]
Yup, that dog certainly looks like he's got something to say! Love the expressions on both! And agree--the striped pants are great!!!!
3/4's view drawing of a dog for the win! But...why is that guy so sad? With pants like that how can he not be happy?
Hahahahaha! Gotta get me a pair of those striped pants!
I can actually hear that dog...how'd you do that? And those pants are giving your red striped stockings some serious competition!
Lol! Funny reluctant expression! Love this! and the dog is super cute!
I love the dog, looks adorable ♥The guy looks embarrased...maybe it's not his god and he's just ashamed to take that little dog for a walk? I know some guys that don't like dogs unless they look fierce...maybe it's his mom's dog or his girlfriend's dog...ok, I better stop now before I start creating a whole story here XD
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! The aqua stripes on his pants and that LITTLE FRENCH BULLDOG is just priceless, Elizabeth!Yes dearest, I am well! AND YOU????? You know, I resigned from my teaching job. Crazy, I know. But I will return as a French substitute teacher next year and they are must needed in my district because of the French immersion school where I work and where there are many teachers who are absent on a daily basis! But I am getting away from the heavy load of administrative work, and focusing more on DESIGNING....I wish you a happy day MAKING FUN ART! This is just delightful and thank you so much for visiting with kind words! Anita
Beautiful work! thanks so much for stopping by again. I love your style. Simply amazing!
this one is great too; i actually absolutely love how you add a dash of purple/violet in your shadows; makes the whole image glow, it’s wonderful.
The puppy is adorable!! I's want to take him for a walk!
It's fantastic:)I'm sorry for the guy but the dog expression is too funny:)My dog was the same, sometimes I thought that he was thinking"try if you want but you'll have to take me in your arms"Thank you for the comment:)
HAHAHAHAHA! That's too excellent! I can hear him now, and he sounds awesome. Oh my goodness, I love this!
I love it!
I have a doggy houseguest. I see I now need a pair of striped pants. I'll let you know how that goes. Love the feel of this drawing. You say so much with so few lines...
Lol, I am currently reading a book titled Born to Bark. This is so fitting!
hahahah perfect expressions for them both.
He deserves better :-) Its good that he is not letting his walkers apathy go without a comment!
Aww that's sweet :) Love the man's expression!
Looks like my dog this week. I can so relate :)
Really fab illustration, the expressions are priceless.
Marvelous specimen of the big mouth breed! I love him but I'm very very glad he doesn't live next door.
That dog is laughing at his owner's expense!
This made me smile. I especially like the man's face.
I love your sense of humor, Elizabeth. ;)
Looks like the dog is saying...."See, I knew I'd get you to go out."
Is that dog laughing up his sleeve?Humans are so easy to manipulate.
Ha! I love the pants.
Hi Elizabeth! I am dropping by to let you know you are invited to join the new Monday's Mail ATC group. Can't wait to see the ATCs you come up with! http://mondaysmail.ning.com/?xgi=3akfKwVeSZlQmn
HAHAHAHAHAHA! The expressions on both of your characters are great. That incessant yapper lived in the house behind me for years. He drove me bonkers. Me … who is usually the epitome of patience and calm. In fact, once, after a solid hour of barking, I was so crazed that I got out the ladder, climbed up to see over the top of the fence, then sprayed him with the garden hose. (It only worked for about 5 minutes though.) Thanks for the memory, and the good belly laugh.
It is true what they say..."dogs and their owners often look alike!" Charming illustration!
This is so perfect, Elizabeth! I always marvel at your succinctness in line...yet you convey so much personality and emotion! I've heard those dogs before...and you've captured him perfectly! Hope you've been well!!
Ahah! Love this illustration! The title is too perfect.
Love this one, Elizabeth...especially the dog! Congratulations on your new book too. :-))And thank you so much for the well-wishes for my new shop too...Susan
