Mother's Day Logic

--I was clearing out a file the other day and ran across this long-ago, but timely, note from one of my offspring.
I suppose it's as good a reason as any...  ;)

    Wonderful! I think it's a good reason. It's better than "because you are pretty" or "because you buy me what I want" or many other reasons. What a treasure. My son sent me a card that reads " They say the nut doesn't fall far from the tree..." and inside "...That just scares the hell out of me." Then he wrote "just kidding". I need to ask him just what kind of nut he thinks we are.
