okay, I want that last hat...
Wonderful stuff as usual. And it's good to see that no one has been ostracized from the group in this one. Green Goblin Grandma is my fave.
I want to know what the yellow penguin said that was so funny.
Obviously these guys are part of a nasty, violent gang!!!
no, no, no violent. It is a very serious stuff. These critters are just reflecting the reality in our world.....
Excellent night activity. These made me smile. And your Walter Mitty picture below. I wonder if anyone reads that story any more. I teach high school English, and we don't read it in any of my classes, yet I still encounter references to it in the world (like here!).
Your drawings always make me smile :)
Ooooooooooo I THINK I heard the chuckling going on in my garden last night, but I wasn't sure what or WHO it was....was it perhaps that second green monster? teeehee....YOU ARE FABULOUS!!! Anita
Oh you visited TEA RAT on his safari excusion!!! teeeeheeee....
I'm the mad hatter lady in the upper left. What's her name?
I love your weird and wonderful Night Creatures!
Ein wenig Nachtskizzieren..One wonders what Mozart would have done with the same inspiration.I worry for the shaven pale penguin in number two... Is he being taken care of well?oh dear..
This is just fantastic!!!i love all the characters :) hugs.
Your characters are so delightful! Their expressions, priceless. I love coming here and also reading everyone's comments about your work...it makes me smile. Thank you for visiting my blog.
Oh, oh. Looks like the delicious spirit which possesses you at Hallowe'en time has made an early appearance this year!

You must have been having bad dreams to conjure up this mottly crew.Love the granny with the red shoes and cat-thing with fish :)

It's like a nightmarish gathering of all the bullies from elementary school. After seeing this I don't think I'll be able to fall asleep tonight ;-)
They do come out in the wee hours, don't they?
Ah.... monsters have lives, too! =]So! Is this like 'Eine Kleine Nacht-doodling'? or do you mean you couldn't sleep or is this what your brain works on when you are asleep? ....and, I've suddenly paused imaging what your dreams might look like.... especially after working for a long time on something like this....I really ought to be sleeping, myself, actually!Gute Nacht!=]
Oh, Elizabeth! Only you could pair these ghouls with these sweet outfits... and those dear expressions! =] As a matter of fact - there are a few positively granny ghouls!
There were a bunch of them under my bed last night chasing dust bunnies. In the morning I had them all disappeared in the vacuum cleaner. Sorry.
Such charming monsters...and such great clothes! Well, the feline-looking one with the fish scares me a bit, but the others seem quite approachable!
It must get very crowded in your head with all these charming creations running around in there. These are fun! I love your simple lines and bright pops of color.
I love the one in the red boots and hat! He's such a cute little monster.
Hi Elizabeth!!!!This characters are awesome!!!!! I believe that they could not scare anyone, they are sooo sweet!BTW: thank you very much for your nice coments!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)))))))))
Hello, Elizabeth Rose Stanton. Your exquisite work leads my impression. The passion for the art. It is universal. The prayer for all peace.Have a good day. from Japan, ruma ❀
Aaaah, I just love the hilarious outfits, but most especially the fab hat and red boots combo on the last fellow. Also, big bows that tie in back - too cute. And really, every hat represented is a great hat. More hats! I'm totally (maybe) going to add a hat to my next one. :)
Such fantastic characters!!!! I reeeeeally want their hats!!! hehe
The last one reminds me about my brother, when he was a child. Same face))
Love these night creatures! how fun! I can see them all in a creepy cool story! :D
I like the bird with three hairs. He just makes me laugh!
Oh how I LOVE YOUR NIGHT SKETCHING!!!!! That is when my CRITTERS come a callin' to me....but I am too sleepy to get them on paper!!!THANK YOU ELIZABETH for visiting me! Yes, I do think I try to live out my dream....so many transitions now however, transitions of attitudes now that I have quit my teaching job. I think I am delusional......I quit thinking that I could make a go at art and writing....WHAT WAS I THINKING??????????????? I knew it was nearly impossible, but I will keep trying. At least I have my husband who is willing to go for the ride with me...that is a dream come reality because in the end, love wins.HAVE A LOVE-FILLED DAY! Anita
Wonderful characters!! Oh, I think they've moved into my closet--guess I'd better invite them for tea :)
Semi-sinister sweetness & light... a winning crew!
I truly appreciate your comments.I try and reply, so be sure and come back!
