I totally agree, what a clever post and I love everyone of them, they each have a character all of thier own. :-) My fav is the pig thoough, back view, too cute!
Round-to-it (Painting the kitchen ceiling, cleaning the garage and putting up the molding (the wallpaper border having gone out of style...) The Engineer will get around to it.
I love your doorknob's attitude! ;) =D I love how the pea is looking up at the snail - what a funny trio they all are...with sweet little odd personalities. Just yesterday, the boys and I were discussing belly buttons. They're round! Sandra Boynton wrote a funny, funny song about them and in it someone chants - 'so round! so profound! So great to contemplate!'
Such a clever idea! It's great that each one has its own personality as well! My favorites are the peas and the door knob, but these are all excellent!! :)
Very cute! Great job giving them all quirky personalities. I love the peapod looking up at the tall snail shell, and the doorknob. And the thoughtful clock face.
Reminds me a bit of Edward Gorey's "The Inanimate Tragedy", but yours would surely be a comedy. Or perhaps a coming-of-age tale.
This is fabulous Elizabeth...I love piggy from the back. Your work is always so fresh and I just love visiting here. Thank you for such sweet words recently at my blog!
Lizzie, these are all sketches of whimsical excellence, but that moon is like looking into a face which bears as much familiarity and comfort as my own.
You are truly gifted. You have packed a living thing through graphite (or whatever medium you used.)
Oh Elizabeth, these are just DARLING...love that pig from both angles! AND THANK YOU DEAREST for your visit and kind words. ENJOY THIS SEASON OF FRIENDSHIP AND FUN!!!!!! Anita
Hi Elizabeth! I'm so excited to have an afternoon to catch up on my blog visits...it's like having coffee with friends. That turkey post was fabulous - gorgeous use of color. And these round things are so charming: my faves are the darling peas and the beautiful moon.
