Hello Elizabeth: What an amusing play on 'goose stepping' in your final 'fowl' image. It has such wonderful movement and the puffed out chest is perfect!
Such a fun line-up. What splendid soft toys they would make.
They all just have their personalities, there, on the line for all of us to see. Everyone's right - what a funny line up of suspects! and, we suspect them of what??? Well, I'm sure that the babushkaed goose did it (whatever it is...she looks so innocent!)
HI :) i am just doing my little santa tour before i take a break, i was coming around to drop off a shining star for you :) and wish you a Merry Christmas! Thank you for the beautiful work you share with all of us, xo sandra
how cute are they! they would make such great toys actually...
ReplyDeleteThese are great--they crack me up! Esp. Spindle Bird :D
ReplyDeleteSteppin' Out is tops.
ReplyDeleteWe used to babushka our cranky dachshund when we were kids - I'm sure she hated us...
ReplyDeleteWhat a line-up. I haven't even heard the word babushka in 75 years. It was the only name I ever knew for a head-scarf when I was growing up.
ReplyDeleteThese are all so trippy. I feel like fat canary today as I practice up for the big day of feasting.
ReplyDeleteMe, too! Lizzie, I love these -- especially, I think, 'Steppin' Out.'
ReplyDeleteBabushkaed and Steppin Out, sorry couldn't pick a favourite between these, may I have them both?;) Wonderfully done! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWhat crayons/pens do you use? the colours are fantastic.
ReplyDeleteOne thing they all have in common: they're smug little critters. What do they know that we don't?
ReplyDeleteHeisann!
ReplyDeleteI will not have this goose for Christmas dinner, but may be someone else!
They all have a wonderful character ;:OD)
Merry Christmas !
What a great time they are going to have around the dinner table on Christmas day feasting on roast beast! A terrific 'family'!
ReplyDeleteGreat drawings!
ReplyDeleteGreat, I love it! I laught out loud behind my computer. I especially like the one in disguise, haha! I have to watch the birds closer in my garden....
ReplyDeletehaha, funny this fat canary, but also the others :-))
ReplyDeleteWhat a line up, the bird in disguise really thinks we can't tell!

ReplyDeleteI could do with a disguise like that most days. I'll just hope for one under the Christmas tree.
ReplyDeleteBetter than birds in the oven.
ReplyDelete(from the birds' prespective)
