"Storm"

The Illustration Friday topic this week is STORM.   Hmmmm... I wonder why they picked that?  ;)
These critters are picking up on an impending something...
Best wishes to all my snowed-in east coast friends. Stay warm!

  7. Hello Elizabeth:
The pricked up ears and the birds in flight are sure signs that something is about to happen and it may not be good. Of course, as far as the white rabbits are concerned, they may disappear altogether....good job that the stripy scarf can act as a distress signal if needed!!!

Hope you are well. Have a good week!!

    1. If by the rabbits disappearing you mean down the proverbial hole--then I will be right there, chasing after ;)

  11. Great expression! Would have hated to be a rabbit this weekend! We got over 2' of the white stuff....but made sure to leave some bread out for the birds. :) I'm contemplating boycotting this week's challenge. The last thing I want to continue to think about right now is another "storm!" :)

  13. In the desert where I live the local indigenous say, "the caterpillars come and then the cockatoos and then you know the rain is on it's way. I always get excited when a storm is coming but I do love your illustration. You have a wonderful way of capturing personality in your animal friends the way Beatrix Potter did. And emotion too. I hope these little bunnies make it home to their burrow before the storm comes.

  21. Oh! This looks like the middle of an adventure! Bunnies in the snow, with their striped comforters fluttering in the wind, rather ominous birds in the sky! What happens next? Do they get home safe, to cocoa and hot buttered toast? I hope so!
