I have been doing a lot of character sketches of pigs lately (I've got three manuscripts going with pigs!). It seems I've been posting them more on Facebook, so it's time for a little blog catch-up :)
Here's a little summary of some piggie sketches for your perusal:
Abby wants to rent a chicken.
ReplyDeletePigs are probably too smart to become minions.
...but they probably taste better ;)
DeleteAdorable! Love them all.
ReplyDeleteYou don't seem to be able to draw anything badly. You irk me. Love your pigs.
ReplyDelete... and you don't seem to be able to draw anything that isn't funny. You irk me. Love your flies.
Deletegiggle giggle giggle, piggle piggle piggle! DARLING MY FRIEND!!!!!!!!! Anita
ReplyDeleteAnita! This comment totally made me giggle giggle giggle. You are so sweet!

ReplyDeleteHope she liked them, S.! Give her a big HI from me :)
DeleteI want the pigs in blankets to come for a visit. I can offer them some snuggly quilts while they stay...
ReplyDelete... and maybe some bedroom slippers ;)
DeleteI love the piggy lineup at the bottom. Pure awesome! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you've picked out the guilty party, E. Thanks, as ever, for stopping by :)
DeleteThe’ Swine’ family! They look like they’d be good neighbors.

ReplyDeleteSo love-able.
Lisa G.
Thanks, Lisa!
DeleteSo sweet! Love your piggies, they are full of grace and personality :)
ReplyDeleteI saw your first sketch on the blogger page, and cracked up! Then I clicked onto your blog page, and I can't stop giggling!!! The piggies are GREAT!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWinston Churchill reckons that dogs were dumb and looked up to us, whilst cats looked down on us as their inferiors. He preferred pigs for they, he reckoned, saw us as equals. Your piggies certainly bring the best out in us ...AAAaaahhhh... they're gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHaha! I do love the bathing suit and then all the little outfits! But that first one with the pig doing a football run with a pig under his arm is so funny! All adorable. :D
ReplyDeleteAdore them all - bikini pig especially. Right now, I feel a lot of empathy with that cross Mummy pig. I will go find one of my naughty little pigs to carry away under my arm - well, I would if they weren't a tad bigger than her naughty pig.
ReplyDeleteAxxx
These will be famous one day and some commercial people will be making merchandise and then I will be one of the first to get a yellow bathing cap like that.
ReplyDeleteSqueeeeeaaaaaaaal! Hehehehehehe, they are so cute! And funny! Haha, I know the top one all to well. I've been there myself, on both accounts. I love pigs. And I love YOUR pigs! Have a fantastic summer!
ReplyDeleteI REALLY want to have one these pigs! So cute!
ReplyDeleteOMG I'm gonna have to eat my bacon sandwich now and remember that these are just drawings!
ReplyDeleteThese are great. So much personality in the swine line. Oink! Oink!
ReplyDeleteLOVELOVELOVE!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love them all but my fav is piggy ready for a swim. There's so much personality in that slightly lifted chin. So cute! Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog. Rabbits and hats, it's never a happy relationship.
ReplyDeleteAnd where is mummy pig off to in such a hurry? I do hope piglet hasn’t been naughty!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you broke the universal rule of only 3 little piggies!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your visit and comment over at my place.
ReplyDeleteI've just had a a grand time scrolling through your posts, and admiring your drawing talents. Wish I had visited here before you had that trip to NYC. Perhaps the next time you travel east, we might even catch a cup of coffee and have a chat?
I do love your way of portraying pigs. I admit to only having seen a few up close in my increasingly long life, but I was also rather impressed by the live ones.
Best wishes.
So coool!!!! Am loving the piggies!!! Let's see more! Ps... sorry< i've been quite. Things have been insane on my end :)
ReplyDeleteLovely. I look forward to see what you do with them.
ReplyDeleteDid you know "Pigs in blankets" can be sausages in batter? When growing up my friend often had it for dinner and it wasn't until we had "toad in the hole" one day that I found out it was the same thing.
Great work! I grew up raising pigs. Cute drawings of them always touch my heart.
ReplyDeleteSo cute, i love all your little piggies :)
ReplyDeleteLove all your funny little piggies ! Especially the whole family and those in blankets !! Really funny :))
