Hello Elizabeth:A nut case or a taste sensation......we can imagine the fear struck into the very wings of dear Henny by the mention of the word whereas, for us, we simply thought of nutcrackers and roasted chestnuts by the fire!!!Henny is quite a girl with her painted fingernails isn't she?
oh i just i love Henny’s nail polish!
Finally Henny takes a stand. How cute!
Great concept and execution!
Ha! Is it possible that you are getting *better* at this, my dear Lizzie. Clever, clever girl.
Hang on to your drumsticks, Henny!
Haha, this is just terrific. You can tell Henny she has a kindred spirit in me, who does not eat c-h-i-c-k-e-n, and would never go to that horrible place! That much said, really beautiful sketch of you-know-who. And Henny's pose and expression are priceless!
Don't you worry Henny, that old fart has been dead for years. This one made me laugh. You're style is so simple, yet so powerful. How do you do it?
Cool...made me laugh too! Finger lickin good!
So funny, great illustration and play on words!
Great. lolLisa G.
Thanks for making me laugh today!!
Oh so very very funny!! I have to say I found this weeks theme word tricky. Colonel Kernel seemed the only way to go. Thanks for visiting my site.
AAAAAAAHHHHH!! HAHAHA! This is wonderful and so witty.
That's awesome! Love the 'hexing' chicken, standing up to the big, bad Colonel. Heh...
Oh, Henny! Not to worry! We would never let the ‘kernel’ near you!You made my evening, Elizabeth! I actually swallowed my gum I laughed so hard! Thanks! (in a good way!)
hahahahahaaa! That's so funny! =]
haha, this is funny! Great work!
Nice job on mixing two styles of drawing. The Colonel looks like a drawing with a real Henny getting frantic.
It's the first time that I've ever seen a shadow cross over dear Henny but no wonder! You must have given her a near heart attack when you mentioned it.Hope all is well now that that's straightened out. =]xo
lol too funny Elizabeth! Great mix of styles.
A tasty kernel indeed!
Oh,Henny...she cracks me up!!!
Whahaa! You're good!
Too funny! I love her chicken "arms"!
TEEEHEEEEE......this is absolutely DARLING! Henny has NOTHING to worry about. She is a super chicken of great worth and importance and well, she is just too precious! LOVE THIS ELIZABETH!!! And thank you so much for coming to visit me! TALK ABOUT BUSY...whew....I am tying up loose ends here with the end of school and it is wild.HAVE A GREAT DAY AND YOUR ILLUSTRATIONS ARE AS FABULOUS AS EVER! Anita
Poor Henny! I like the way she holds her 'hands'.
Thanks for stopping by! I have to tell you that I was sitting in the teacher's lounge yesterday, zipping thru a few blogs on my phone while my class was at recess. I looked at this illustration and burst out laughing...loudly. I'm not sure what the other teachers thought I was looking at... :)
Now that's funny! Thanks for the laugh...I needed it this morning.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! This is HILARIOUS Elizabeth! I especially like the contrast in drawing styles combined in one image. The pencil of the King of KFC is really nice. Love the limited color too - it makes the image pop in all the right places.
Ha! So cute and the Colonel looks so good, you really captured him. I loved KFC as a kid and sometimes I crave what I remember the flavor to be but the last time I ate there (about 10 years ago!) it just wasn't the same...
love you humour Elizabeth.... and the adventures of Henny. :)
This is a RIOT!!! Henny is just TOO FUNNY!!
LOL!!! I think Henny handled herself quite well under the circumstances. Hysterical, Elizabeth! Just what I needed--the perfect end to a not so perfect day. Thank you! :)
hahahaha, good that Henny have her arms :-)
Way too funny. Love your blog Elizabeth, thank you for checking out my sketchbook, much appreciated.
Is this a dead ringer (or winger) or what? Fantastic! :o)
As an European girl I had to study this a bit longer than any American would, but when I got it I had to laugh. Elizabeth, I wish I could pin this illustration to my Vegan board on Pinterest. See I'm a vegan and I love these illustrations in which the illustrator takes the view of the meat eaters victims and let us feel compassion and empathy. Another job well done, Elizabeth! Paula
Ha ha ha! This is just great!
I truly appreciate your comments.I try and reply, so be sure and come back!
