Hello Elizabeth: There are so many things which are appealing about this drawing.
In particular, we love the way in which you have conveyed movement, not only in the figure itself, but also in the way in which the different items are being blown in all directions. Additionally, there is the personification of the wind with his puffed out cheeks and pursed lips and flowing hair. And then there are the vibrant colours which, at least to us, suggest the rainbow so often associated with stormy days.
That is a wind with some personality! I'm not quite sure if he is a good wind or a bad one - although everyone looks like they're floating through the air - so he must be fairly gentle.
Stunning, absolutely stunning. I *love* it! The child with the umbrella is very sweet. The pastel colours of the wind are beautiful and I love the sense of movement in all the little elements which are getting blown about.
OH MY! Words cannot describe how much I love this. Fantastic and awesome (see, neither of those do it justice - heh)!
