Work, work, work...

Mister Frog looks like I often feel.
Drawpostdrawpostdrawpostdrawpostdrawpost....like the spin cycle on the washing machine...only maybe not so fast.

  1. Her Royal Highness, The Lady Bullfrog (that's her picture on my blog sent thru a oil painting app) thinks he's cute and needs an algae martini.

  2. froggy--Oh I quite agree! Mr. Frog needs that martini --especially since I think he looks so frazzled because he's having to pick up Teddy's slack ;)

  6. Hmmmm! I don't know how to describe my dry chuckle. Well, at least, I'm not in the office wearing a tie.

Froggy should "go a courtin'". Do you know that folk song?

My middle son LOVES frogs - I can't wait to show him....again!=D

  8. Ahhhh! Froggy needs an artist date. Go do something fun and crazy! It can even be something little - right now I am eating Nutella with a spoon straight out of the jar. ;-)

  9. Is Mister Frog related to your little tadpole with the red galoshes and his mother? (one of my all-time faves, btw.) I simply adore the way the paints pop on that colored paper. And I love getting to see the piece in its context of the larger page. More of the Family Frog!!

  11. Hello Elizabeth:
Mr. Frog has that wonderfully enigmatic expression on his face, a mixture of determination and incomprehension! Just as well feel most of the time about life!

  15. Hope he won't get RSI with his posture, he's so concentrated, he doesn't notice anything outside his screen. (recognizable) What a great character, Elizabeth!

  17. Hmmm, Draw-post, draw-post, that sounds a lot better than my, getup and go to work, getup and go to work, mantra. I think I'll steal yours, it sounds much more empowering.

  18. Spin-cycle speed would be much-appreciated, I agree! Of course, your work takes considerably more time than Macabry's--I love your shading technique!

  19. I love the little handle on his office chair. I'm hoping it reclines so he/you can colour with feet up on the desk. I think that's the perfect work posture. ;)

  20. Yeahh, but you're anything but green yourself 'Eeee'. What froggy needs perched up there, is a nice cute cuddly teddy to "BASH THE BLUDDY CRAP OUT OF!!!" sometimes.

In the meanwhile - "Come on then! Chop Chop.. Drawpostdrawpostdrawpostdrawpostdrawpost....!!"

  21. Froggie seems to be thinking "Oh No" about whatever mess he's gotten himself into on the 'puter'...poor guy, looks perfectly baffled!
At least he's not poor Teddy...he's really having a very rough time of it!

  22. Oh My, Froggy do will be developing real muscles if he keeps up this blogging exercise. A good romaine-parsley green drink will put some spunk back in Froggy.

  23. I love Mr. Frog so much, I want to snatch him up and take him home with me! All around my SC coastal home, summer evenings are a wild chorus of frog song. We have tiny bright green tree frogs that sound like the Aflac duck, bullfrogs and gopher frogs and cricket frogs and...he'll be right at home. I don't draw, I just eatposteatposteatpostsleep.

  29. I love that shade of green, and love the sad look of resignation. Poor Mr. Frog. We have all been there, and feel his pain.
