Scattered Thoughts

This week's Illustration Friday topic is "scattered."
My scatterbrain thought of someone thinking scattered thoughts:
pen & ink, wax pencil, on paper

  2. WOW That is a lot of thoughts coming out. Or maybe going in. Perhaps they change the molecular structure. It resembles the old fashion perms with the electrical cords clipped to the hair that changes the hair. It's difficult to look at sanpaku eyes.

  6. ELIZABETH DEAR!!!

You capture a feel that can only come through the right feel for the muscles in the face. AND...talk about scattered...I am a teacher and this is one wild year! This weekend, I am trying to put my brain back together after this past week of craziness!!!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR VISIT and kind words. From you, encouragement and enthusiasm means a lot.

    PEACE! Anita

  7. I really like the illustration. I think most of us can relate to the concept and live it everyday! Thanks for your comments on my illustration. I'm new to illustration friday and was excited just to see that someone looked at it and commented. I loved your website! I love working with pencil also.

  11. I really, really like it, Lizzie. I love your 'tiny' use of color-- it's just enough. This illustration, for me, hums. Incidentally, do you have blue eyes?

  12. Yup, that looks all too familiar! Only she (you?) looks much calmer than I usually feel when my head is exploding in all different directions. I love all the little symbols, imagining what each signifies...

  25. The colors on the face are interesting. I remember in some of my previous art classes the professor would always say to paint, draw, color with all of the colors. There are pinks and blues in lemons too! And it adds a great deal of depth to any drawing.

  31. Whoops! You caught my vibes or something, last month? This was me, in a big way....well, all of it, except for - those red things...if they're candy - yup! That's me!

Elizabeth, I so appreciate people who can take an idea and experience and can create something on paper - an image - to express it. It's such a wonderful gift!

Oh, how funny! My word verification is 'addle'....
