Been thinking about dinosaurs lately. Not sure why...but here is the manifestation of said thoughts.
(also thinking of coloring some of them in and putting them in party dresses...stay tuned ;) ).
Weird... I was just trying to find you and you appeared. :) Oh yes, do dress the babies. I'm attracted to kids movies and I guess "Beverly Hill's Chihuahua" is one. In the sequel (don't remember the name), she and Poppy, the Mexican gardener's chihuahua are married and they have 5 little baby dogs. She is constantly dressing them in designer outfits. My type of movie. Ha It reminded me of you dressing your baby dinosaurs.
I LOVE that last one especially, that BRONTO that has a look of "WHAT? WHERE AM I?" I love dinos too, and I drew one last year based on a silly stuffed animal we have. HAVE FUN! Anita
You ought to go and take a look at ducks. The ones in the river under my window look nothing like yours. And they already wear party dresses.
But the baby dinosaurs are sweet. Are they going to grow up into those big, nasty creatures that live in Jurassic Park? I'm never going to go there, party frock or no party frock.
I love these :) baby dinosaurs are always a fabulous subject! The little one in the middle at the bottom is extra adorable!
Also I just wanted to thank you for all the lovely comments you give me on my blog, it's always great to get encouragement, especially from established illustrators, ha ha. :)
Elizabeth, I showed these little ones to my five year old Dino loving (knows every single one by it's latin name) nephew...and he loved them...and requested to see more! :) Had to share... xo J~
Today I can see no dinosaurs (nor any pictures on any blogspot site for that matter) but I doubt that dinosaurs fit into party dresses. So, yes, I need to see that!
I love all these little guys, Lizzie.
ReplyDeleteDuck says in 100 million years I'll have my own insurance company and you will be in an oil field...

I would totally love to see dinosaurs in party dresses. Maybe some Mary Janes, too.
