If only my doodling could look so good, but sadly they are unrecognizable blurs. It must be relaxing to have the relief of drawing such lovable characters as you listen. Welcome back? Are you back?
Hello Elizabeth: Now, we are not entirely convinced! Be careful, for you may well be spotted which could result in slapped wrists from the concert organisers.
I don't know if I love your birds because I've always loved birds, or I just love your birds in particular, or maybe I love birds more NOW because of your birds. Yeah, that's it.
These are so great! Totally love Mr. Bird with the monocle and also striped-chest happy bird from page two. But my favorite must be those three rows on page three. It's like some kinda crazy hieroglyphics! So many great poses and a fine combination of peoples and birds. And one pig dog. :D
I think that the people who were next to you at the conference have been very lucky, because they had the gift to see appear on white sheets of your sketchbook your wonderful drawings! Congratulations on your fantastic talent!
Can't decide which is my favorite - chicken with a monocle or the flying sperm...
ReplyDeleteI love them all - they're wonderful! Axx
ReplyDeleteOhhhh so beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are the most amazing notes ever!!
I can almost see an alphabet on the last page :D
That second sketch looks like an alphabet of characters. How fun!
ReplyDeleteI really love your style, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. And I, too, thought you were trying to draw the alphabet there. Heh...
ReplyDeleteObviously the conference inspired you. :) They look like my "notes" from some of my continuing education courses in dentistry.

ReplyDeleteGreat notes! I bet they remind you of the talk that was given as you drew these.
ReplyDeleteLittle Happy Group. It must have been a happy lecture. Little Henny there in the corner, carefully waddling around.
ReplyDeleteHow funny, I've just posted conference notes too :)
ReplyDeleteLove yours!

Sorry, that should be 'conference' not 'concert'. Now who is paying attention?!!

ReplyDeletethey are all so fun to look at - hard to choose one favorite.
ReplyDeletelooking forward to heariing your tales from the conference!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Rod already mentioned hieroglyphics! Arrrrgh. (But it must be true then!)
ReplyDeleteThese are the cutest doodles EVER!
ReplyDeleteI *know* you can pay attention and doodle at the same time. One brain operating as two -- I've no issue with that!
ReplyDelete(Absolutely love your notes.)
Hope you had a successful time at the conference. Great doodles could see these cuties making a great pattern:)
ReplyDeleteYour doodles are so nice and neat!
ReplyDeleteI believe you! I do the exact same thing at conferences/meetings. Doodles help me think better. These are utterly charming.

ReplyDeleteWhat brilliant spreads, lovely characters, so delicately done.
