Here's one more little sketchbook doodle. The IF theme for the week is "Heights,"
so I figured this would do.
It'll have to...since I'm taking off today for The Big Apple...
heading back to visit family and meet with my agent !!
I am looking forward to returning and diving into all my blog buddies' posts that I've been missing.
Meanwhile, thanks to ALL for stopping by! See you next week.

I think that guy might need more than timing to save him. Such a great idea.
ReplyDeleteLooking could also be a good idea!!

ReplyDeleteOops! Have a great time in the 'Big Apple'!
ReplyDeleteAll of a sudden I hear Goofy hollering, "YAAAAAAA HOOOO HOOO HOOEYYYYY!"
ReplyDeleteGo carve up that Apple!
I hope you have a great time!
ReplyDeleteI love this one Elizabeth! Sad but true.
ReplyDeleteAnd as for NYC, you are lucky. Lately when I watch the shows that take place in NYC I think about how nice and exciting it would be to live there. Missing the city I guess. Sadly, cities take lots of money.
Yikes!! Looks out! (This is SO something I would do!!!) Love the socks!!!!
ReplyDeleteHe may be suicidal, but he has great fashion sense. Love the leggings...
ReplyDeletehelloooo Elizabeth, hope you have a good time with your family ok!!!!
ReplyDeletetake care, XXOO
Wishing you a happy and successful trip!
ReplyDeleteWait! I haven't wished you a 'bon voyage' for your last trip, yet, and, now, you're back and gone again. Timing, indeed!
ReplyDeleteand, you're so agonizingly close! (well, relatively...) I might be going to NYC in a week or two! Gar! Timing....
Well, I'm still considering that umbrella from a few posts back. When i was younger, I had an umbrella like Mary Poppins - parrot handle and all - but it was purple! =D Umbrellas are magic, too. We can't keep them around the house - the boys keep stealing them and taking them outdoors and releasing them into the wild....
Hope you had a lovely time. 'See' you when you get back but... Oh, right now, you're so close...four and a half hours drive away....weep and a head bang!
xxo
Okay, wait. Is this the first time you're sharing with us that you have an agent?!?
ReplyDeleteBecause if so, OMG! Lizzie, I am so happy for you -- I feel like crying! You are SO talented and I'm just gushing like a nutter but I don't care. You so deserve representation and widespread distribution and just massive amounts of success, my dear friend!
Hope you have a good time with your family and a successful meeting with your agent. This sketch works for heights. It's the opposite of what I do. I look down all the time so I won't trip and get my head banged by branches or other protruding stuff.
ReplyDeleteSure is! Hope you're having a great time in the big apple. :)
ReplyDeleteOnce, while on tour in Istanbul, Turkey, I fell into a open trench because I was looking up at all the great architectural details of surrounding buildings. Thanks for the fond -but painful- memories!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful how a few wobbly lines can convey so much!? I strive for this in etegami, but our tools don't allow such thin lines as this. And I love that only the striped socks are in color.
ReplyDeleteAgent???!!! Woo hoo! You go, girl. Have a wonderful trip!
