Abby admits the mouse is pretty darn cute but thinks dog whiskers are the bestest.
Tell Abby dog whiskers are most acceptable.
Aww, sweet!Definitely prefer the animal-type.
I knew you would :)
Thanks, Michelle :)
Look at that tiny polka dot of a nose. Perfect, perfect, perfect.
...and I find your observations perfect, perfect, perfect. Always :)
Whiskers drank it all and looking for more...What a cutie!
Yes! His tummy is VERY full! Thanks, L.!
Hello ElizabethI love it all from the pattern on the china to the innocence of the mouse. No whiskers on humans, much more attractive in the animal kindgomHelen xx
Re: whiskers--I completely agree. Glad you like the china, too :)
Yes I agree animal whiskers are cuter, especially when beautifully drawn by you.
Gosh! Thanks, Sue :)
Awww, how sweet! I like your whiskers!
Better on him than me ;) Thanks, R. :)

They ARE the best kind, after all :)

I'm actually rather fond of the human sort too, but this little whiskered one's a darling for sure!

"I prefer the animal-type over the people-type...don't you?"Who said anything about 'types'. I just prefer animals!
Well put, Rob...and, of course, I agree! :)
When a cat is smaller than a tea cup. Makes a grown man go "Awwww!" :-)
Then I say, "Mission accomplished." :-)
Love animals, animal whiskers, my husband's whiskers, and your illustrations.
All whisker-bases covered! Yay!
Thank you, Sandra!
Ooooo this is adorable, JUST SWEET AS PIE! Oh Elizabeth, you are on a roll! Anita
Thanks, Anita. I think I just might be :)
"I prefer the animal-type over the people-type...don't you?" hmmm! I did not know that people were not animals! ;)So cute, love it!

The animal type, no doubt! Great illustration! :D

Haunt, Shy, Tree, Piggies, Whiskers.................All amazingly Gorgeous. I LoVe Your drawings. Thanks for sharing your works.:)
Thank YOU, Clare, for stopping by and leaving me such a kind comment. Made my day :)
See, I saw this as a drawing of a normal-sized cat in a giant tea cup. I suppose that's because I really, really love tea (and would love a giant tea cup).Thank you for popping over and visitng my blog! :)
R., I like how your mind works :) Love your blog!
OH so cute!!
Yes of course, the animal type! (Of most things, in fact. Feet for instance. How cute are animal feet? Human feet? Not so much!) Super, super cute. I should get something out for this fine topic but I've been doing secret santa things and they are secret. Arrrgh! :)
It's hard to get things done this time of year. Of course, if you did get something out, we would love it :)Thanks for stopping by, Cindy!
Definitely the animal type... especially these :)
Hey, Susanna! Yay! Thanks...and thanks for stopping by :)
Oh, little Teddybear, do come out. There’s nobody here who would hurt you. Not even those who think you’re a mouse.
Haha! You are funny and observant, U. I actually have worked a little more on him, since I decided he was missing his stripes. He is now a Tiny Tiger. Maybe I should post him?
Most definitely! I'd MUCH rather rub noses with these type of whiskers. Less itchy and a tons cuter. Cheers!
I agree! Thanks, Bella!
Oh yeah! Super cute, i love your work! I have not had time to do Illustration Friday for ages and have been missing visiting your amazing blog Elizabeth. So off to catch up now on all your wonderful posts! Hope to do an Illustration Friday submission next week too:)
Thanks, Amanda...YAY! Can't wait to see what you submit! I love YOUR work :)
Saw this yesterday, ERS, with 44 comments or so. Stayed in my mind. The teacup with whiskers idea brought to mind a cracked shaving mug on the sauna windowsill from my childhood. Love how these juxtapositions poke windows in to memory, send me to places I love. Tiny perfect image. Lovely.
Thank you, Aino! I'm so glad they are evocative for you. How satisfying :)
So cute. I only find soggy tea leaves in my cup.
Hahaha! Me, too! Thanks,Sharon :)
He's cuter 'n a bug's ear and the color is very nice on this one, too, but it's not finished; you need to draw in the rest of the cup and saucer carnival ride.
Can't believe I missed this one. Hahahaha!
I truly appreciate your comments.I try and reply, so be sure and come back!
