Excellent night activity. These made me smile. And your Walter Mitty picture below. I wonder if anyone reads that story any more. I teach high school English, and we don't read it in any of my classes, yet I still encounter references to it in the world (like here!).
Ooooooooooo I THINK I heard the chuckling going on in my garden last night, but I wasn't sure what or WHO it was....was it perhaps that second green monster? teeehee....YOU ARE FABULOUS!!! Anita
Your characters are so delightful! Their expressions, priceless. I love coming here and also reading everyone's comments about your work...it makes me smile. Thank you for visiting my blog.
So! Is this like 'Eine Kleine Nacht-doodling'? or do you mean you couldn't sleep or is this what your brain works on when you are asleep? ....and, I've suddenly paused imaging what your dreams might look like.... especially after working for a long time on something like this....
Oh, Elizabeth! Only you could pair these ghouls with these sweet outfits... and those dear expressions! =] As a matter of fact - there are a few positively granny ghouls!
It must get very crowded in your head with all these charming creations running around in there. These are fun! I love your simple lines and bright pops of color.
Hi Elizabeth!!!! This characters are awesome!!!!! I believe that they could not scare anyone, they are sooo sweet! BTW: thank you very much for your nice coments!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)))))))))
Aaaah, I just love the hilarious outfits, but most especially the fab hat and red boots combo on the last fellow. Also, big bows that tie in back - too cute. And really, every hat represented is a great hat. More hats! I'm totally (maybe) going to add a hat to my next one. :)
Oh how I LOVE YOUR NIGHT SKETCHING!!!!! That is when my CRITTERS come a callin' to me....but I am too sleepy to get them on paper!!!
THANK YOU ELIZABETH for visiting me! Yes, I do think I try to live out my dream....so many transitions now however, transitions of attitudes now that I have quit my teaching job. I think I am delusional......I quit thinking that I could make a go at art and writing....WHAT WAS I THINKING??????????????? I knew it was nearly impossible, but I will keep trying. At least I have my husband who is willing to go for the ride with me...that is a dream come reality because in the end, love wins.
okay, I want that last hat...
ReplyDeleteWonderful stuff as usual. And it's good to see that no one has been ostracized from the group in this one. Green Goblin Grandma is my fave.

ReplyDeleteThere were a bunch of them under my bed last night chasing dust bunnies. In the morning I had them all disappeared in the vacuum cleaner. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteSuch charming monsters...and such great clothes! Well, the feline-looking one with the fish scares me a bit, but the others seem quite approachable!
