Hey, Elizabeth Rose! Hey, Elizabeth Rose! this is fun! very fun!!!!!!!!!!!! I like it when the joke, is not 100% in the illustration, or in the text, the joke, as in this case, is formed in the mind of the reader, after seeing the picture and read what you write because if you see only the picture is not funny, and if you read only the text, is not funny, but the concatenation of both yes it is!!! I do not know if I explained well my concept. Congratulations, and thanks for stopping by mki blog!
Hello Elizabeth: We recognise that look. And, notwithstanding the rather smart but sinister cane, the likes of Mr. Tweety are to be avoided if one does not wish to be hoodwinked. Even the position of the wings suggest something to be concealed. Definitely not to be trusted!
I had to do a search to learn that ornithology is the study of birds. Love that you added that tag! This illustration is really funny; I love Mr. Tweety's face. He looks like he's waiting for the last person to leave so he can get on with his secret stuff!
Ooooooo..... a secret NIGHT LIFE, no doubt!!! And does he run around with that adorable HENNY? I can only imagine the trouble they get into!!! HELLO THERE DEAR ELIZABETH! Anita
The personality - the look....!!! =D I've been looking at him for HOURS (okay, not hours but, definitely, many MINUTES), now! There's so much in him to see and we're drawn in....
I just had to look up 'Walter Mitty' (a name I've heard before - thank you so much Google - phew!) and that adds the final, very funny piece to the puzzle!
Nice! I love the shifty eyes.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! So great! Definitely has the shifty eyes. Even the careful bend of his wing is a bit shifty. Lovely and hilarious.
ReplyDeleteEverything is perfect, except wait... no grasping toes for hanging upside down in the caves. AW shucks, only half a bat.
ReplyDeleteTed...best not to make assumptions. You can't see through his shoes. I did that on purpose. His grasping toes are a SECRET.
DeleteHey, Elizabeth Rose!
