Creepy Chicken

As we draw closer to Henny's release, the book buzz is starting to happen!

So far Henny has been referred to as--- cute, creepy, adorable, unconventional, humorous,
 weird (in a good way), and precious. . .  
but best of all:
 Henny has been selected by the American Booksellers Association as a "Kids' Indie Next List" pick!
This means a bookseller nominated Henny, then ABA members voted and selected it as a recommended book for booksellers across the country to put in their stores.
 How cool is THAT??!!

...and remember:
HENNY is available just about anywhere, but if you would like a signed copy, order through
 Secret Garden Books (in the comments section at checkout say you would like it signed). 
Oh, and if you're in Seattle, please come to Henny's launch party at the Secret Garden Bookstore on January 7th at 7p.m.  Bwwaaak!

    How great isn't that to be picked as "Kids' Indie Next List". Congratulations. Henny is taking off now! And I love all the characteristics Henny has been labelled with, just shows the a very special character.

    Yesterday while I was at school, I saw that you had a new blog post off of my cell phone, but was unable to visit. Then I see your comment on my post (thank you!) and HERE YOU ARE! Here is HENNY...and I am SO THRILLED for you that this has happened to both of you! I knew it, I just knew Henny would take off. Who says chickens can't fly the distance?
