Hello Elizabeth: How is it that whatever, and here is no exception, your 'characters' are always full of expression? Here Henny looks rather as if she has surprised even herself with this wonderful, slightly camp disguise. The boots are, of course, magnificent and quite ridiculous!!
Your comments made my comment viewing moment! I am back at school today for our first district meeting. This week is a mild week, or rather, teacher meetings and classroom preparation. Next Tuesday IS THE DAY when the children come. The real show.....
IF you want to see some of my drawings, come to:

that is my team blog. Any posts from CASTLES CROWNS AND COTTAGES is me....there are three of us that contribute drawings. It is HERE where I came out of MY RIGHT BRAIN CAVE and started to draw again after 40 years. FUNNNNN!
Many thanks and have a spectacular day! Oh, and HEnny will see that she is not the only animal that likes to wear boots...(hint: Tea Rat)
Ok, Elizabeth, this is adorable, and you do amazing work, but looking at the latest posts with Teddy — axes & guillotines — hmmm, so dark... makes me love your work that much more! Perfectly divine.
Love it! My guess is the chick is saying "Aw Mom, if you insist on wearing that, please just drop me off on the corner so none of my friends will see you."
Hey, maybe that's why the chicken crossed the road!
Henny looks like she's means business and is ready for some serious shoot-em-up fun at the OK Corral-Coop...great use of those special hands of hers!! L.O.V.E. Her! xo J~
What came first? The chicken or the egg?
ReplyDeleteDon't. Get. This. Wrong.
Oh goodness! This is just absolutely the cutest thing ever! Love the pink boots with spurs!

ReplyDeleteA regular gun-slinger. We shall heed the words of poultry from now on...
